Seminole Hard Rock ready for a little Jersey Shore-style fist-pumping, and then took her very-high pouf to Louis, while Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo turned heads at B.E.D. Miami’s Secret Society party. Kim Kardashian came back to Miami to host Ocean Drive’s 17th anniversary party at the Delano, which attracted Michael Caine, Alex Rodriguez, and Mike Piazza. Amber Rose, a.k.a. Kanye West’s girlfriend, checked out, for whatever reason, Fabolous’ show at Mansion, while Jamie Foxx hammed it up at Wall, and Whitney Port and Roxy Olin (MTV’s The City) partied the night away at LIV. Mikhail Baryshnikov and Liv Ulmann attended a National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts event at the Dupont Building in the MDD, (the dancer also was spotted having a romantic dinner with his longtime girlfriend at EOS at the Viceroy Miami), Cynthia Nixon spoke at an ACLU event at the Shore Club, and Lil Jon celebrated his birthday at The Florida Room. Kim Kardashian & Lorenzo Lamas attended the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale. Gloria and Lili Estefan, Maria Celeste Arraras, and Raúl de Molina celebrated the release of Emilio Estefan’s book The Rhythm of Success with a party at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. Bethenny Frankel talked up her book The Skinnygirl Dish at Books & Books in Bal Harbour. In the wake of the earthquake that devastated Haiti, Wyclef shot a video calling for relief for his native country, at the ’bleau, and John Edwards, Sean Penn, and director Paul Haggis chatted at Cane Fire Grille at the Marriott Airport Hotel before boarding a flight for the island nation. Solange hosted a party at Mia at Biscayne; Pitbull, Joss Stone, and Don King attended a Haiti benefit at Bongos; while, back on South Beach, Jersey Shore‘s The Situation and J-Woww did their thing at Mansion. Big Boi celebrated his birthday at Cameo, while Shaq hosted a party at LIV, and Brooke Hogan turned up at the Mondrian. Shakira showed everyone that, indeed, her “Hips Don’t Lie” at the Jingle Ball. Eva Longoria Parker flew into town to support BFF Loren Ridinger at the annual Market America World Conference at the AAA, which featured a show by Alejandro Sanz. Later in February, Super Bowl XLIV was the other big event of the season, and it attracted a heckuva lot of stars. Natch. Jordin Sparks kicked off the parties on SoBe when she hosted the 3rd Annual Jordin Sparks Experience at the Eden Roc, featuring performances by her and David Archuleta, and Diddy kept the fun going at Cameo.
