EXCLUSIVE THAT SUITS YOUR NEEDS FIND THE HOTEL WELCOME TO THE SUITE LIFE The Palazzo Las Vegas Awaits Words by Vanessa Pascale Where you lay your head down at night, during any respite, is essential —you want comfort, convenience, opulence…, when you're in Vegas you want The Palazzo. From the moment of arrival at their grand entrance, visitors are incessantly bathed in luxury with the vast dining options, "all-suite" rooms, spa treatments and pools. The stunning property is ranked #1 among Las Vegas Hotels in Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards 2010 and has received the AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Four-Star Award. The Palazzo is magnificently decorated in a European design scheme that is contemporary yet decadent. Boasting 3,066 suites tailored to ensure your utmost comfort, their "luxury suite" starts at 720-square-feet (nearly twice the size of the standard Vegas hotel room) while their largest suites "the Presidential and Chairman," which feature private terraces and outdoor plunging pools, are a palatial 8,000+ square-feet. The next echelon of service is presented as Prestige at The Palazzo, a highly-exclusive service and space offering VIP amenities: a private champagne check-in, packing and unpacking services, exclusive bath and pillow menus, complimentary cocktail reception, personal concierge assistance for travel, entertainment arrangements, deluxe continental breakfast… the list goes on. Conveniently situated on Las Vegas Boulevard, its location is central to all that the strip has to offer. But you need not travel too far, as everything you could possibly need is onsite, including high-end shops such as: Tory Burch, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, as well as the expansive and beautiful Shoppes at The Palazzo with over 60 stores. When it comes to fine fare – there is a range of cuisine to choose from at the hotel. World-renowned chefs and Food Network favorites: Mario Batali's Carnevino, Wolfgang Puck's CUT and Emeril Lagasse's Table 10 are here to satisfy discerning tastes. And, if you're looking for a place that's a bit more casual, they have delicious dishes at Grand Lux Cafe and Lagasse's Stadium (the ultimate sports bar, race & sports book and restaurant) touts savory elevated bar food staples like Emeril's Steak BAM'Wich, New Orleans Style Crab Cakes, and BBQ Ribs. If that didn't make your mouth water, I don't know what will. There are several other restaurants onsite offering an assortment of cuisine —Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian… As for entertainment, The Palazzo has its fair share to keep you amused. Host to a bevy of star-studded events (Las Vegas Epicurean Affair, Simon G's "Spring Bling" to benefit the Lili Claire Foundation and Tiffani Thiessen's furniture line, PetitNest, launch party), The Palazzo knows how to roll out the red carpet, and does so regularly. This past June they hosted the Simon G. Jewelry "Summer Soiree," showcasing Simon G.'s stunning jewels and benefiting Generosity Water, in their luxurious Azure Luxury Pool area. The chic event entertained celebrities such as Teri Hatcher, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Jaime King among others, with a very colorful Marc Bouwer fashion show, an enlightening presentation by Generosity Water (on their efforts to bring clean drinking water to impoverished countries) and an amazing acoustic performance from multi-platinum recording artist Gavin Rossdale. Guests snacked on tasty sliders from The Palazzo's famed I Love Burgers, fried macaroni and cheese balls, and refreshing libations. The photo booth, stocked with fun props, bright boas, sunglasses and fake Academy Award Statuettes, was an absolute hit and had everyone wanting their photo snapped. And LAVO, the hotel's super hot restaurant and night spot, hosted the VIP-only after-party, where guests danced the night away. After a night of partying, fraught with gambling and shows, some rest and relaxation is just what the doctor ordered. Suit up for a day lounging by one of the seven beautiful pools. Bask in the Vegas sun while enjoying lunch poolside with fare from SOLARO by Wolfgang Puck or take up residence in one of their 41 accommodating cabanas stocked with LCD TVs, chaise lounges and a fully-stocked fridge —all situated around verdant foliage and peace-inducing fountains. AZURE Luxury Pool is their super-exclusive area, where patrons enjoy pampering from "amenity butlers and butlerettes" serving up complimentary frozen grapes, Evian misting, chilled towels, and sunscreen application – now this is the life. To truly unwind, The Palazzo has the posh Canyon Ranch SpaClub (the world's largest Canyon Ranch SpaClub). During Teri Hatcher's visit, she raved about her massage at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, saying it was "arguably the best I've ever had – ever." Indulge in one of their specialty treatments, like the Euphoria Ritual massage and bath, Mango Sugar Glo conditioning body massage or Canyon Stone Massage. Another unique feature is the Aquavana, their European-inspired suite of thermal spa cabins, experiential showers, cold rooms and aqua thermal bathing experiences –this you don't want to miss out on.
