EXCLUSIVE VEGAS EXCLUSIVE: ARE YOU READY TO ROCK? Check into the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Words by Vanessa Pascale At Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, life is a party. The rock 'n' roll vibe fused with a vibrant backdrop of ultra-exclusive rock memorabilia and a centrally-located gaming area sets the mood for a rockin' good time. The host of scores of concerts by music greats like: The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails… music-enthusiasts and partiers alike can definitely appreciate this place. Regular patrons return for the cool atmosphere and chill vibe. For those of you who haven't visited since the incredible 2010 $750 million expansion (nearly doubling the resort in size), you're in for a treat. Major upgrades in services, amenities and lodging were made to ensure topnotch luxury is on the menu for your Vegas vacation. The expansion included the addition of approximately 860 guest rooms (including an all- suite 15-story HRH Tower and a 17-story Paradise Tower), approximately 80,000 square feet of meeting space, and about 72,000 square feet of casino space – now, that's an upgrade! Their astounding pool area, known for it's popular pool party: Rehab, was also part of the expansion, along with several restaurants, bars, a nightclub, The Joint, multiple retailers, and a new spa and health club. The existing areas of the property —rooms, suites, and common areas were also renovated to pump up the hotel's appeal too! Their 17-story Paradise Tower high-style rooms are fashioned in chic cool-hues and is a relaxing haven fused with leather, wood and silver studded velvet. Rooms feature a fully stocked mini bar, Bose CD stereo with iPod docking station, high speed internet access via TV or wireless, 42 inch flat screen TV and spacious shower filled with Hunter Amenities. Looking for a more amped up pad? Hard Rock has got what you want. The all-suite 15-story HRH Tower is the ultimate in accommodations and service –suited for rock royalty. Suites are festooned in a palette of creams and whites juxtaposed against dark brown accent pieces, and boast an oversized bathroom, a Sound Matters Sound Bar – an AMX 12" Touch Panel music system with iPod dock (with more than 2,000 HRH owned songs / playlists), and a 42 inch flat screen TV. As for places to get your grub on, there is everything here to please varying tastes, from high-quality steaks at the super sleek 82 MIAMI LIVING Rare 120, fresh and delicious Japanese fare and sushi at Nobu and authentic Tuscan-style Italian cuisine at AGO. For a quick bite, I highly suggest you stop by Espumoso Caffé. Their specialty coffee drinks and smoothies and tasty paninis, pastries, empanadas and desserts hit the spot. For your late-night appetite, stop in to Mr. Lucky's 24/7 –where the cuisine never ceases to be served up. The diner-esque fare will satiate your comfort food cravings after a long night partying at the hotel's nightclub, Vanity. One of Vegas' hottest nightclubs, Vanity's jewel-toned venue offers a VIP feel with its pearls, hand-cut crystals and rich tapestries. If you're not up for the club experience, mix and mingle over cocktails at one of the bars in-house: Luxe Bar, Midway Bar, Poker Lounge Bar, Center Bar or Sports Book – with the varied selection available you're prone to have a great night. Forget something at home —say a killer dress to rock at night or a cute clutch or Vegas-worthy bling? Stop in to one of the shops to pick that piece up, right inside the hotel. Stores include: John Varvatos, Affliction, Hard Rock Store, Love Jones, Fuel, Rocks the Jeweler, and there's even a tattoo shop: Hart & Huntington Tattoo – how rockstar is that? R&R? Yes, please. This is a vacation, right? Reliquary Water Sanctuary & Spa, just inside the luxurious HRH Tower, offers a first- class experience to splurging patrons. Relax and get pampered by their accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Massage? Facial? Both? Why not? You're in Vegas – indulge! They also have the Reliquary Salon to assist you with getting all glammed up before your big night on the town. Possibly the best feature about the hotel is the HRH Beach Club, which sprawls across 2.3 acres of the property. HRH Beach Club features an expansive pool area, sandy beach, 17 daybeds and 24 luxury cabanas. Check out their island pool, which remains 20 degrees cooler than the main body of water, for those days that are just too hot to handle. And of course, there is the no-need-for-introductions, REHAB Pool, which is always packed with sunbathers and those ready for a good time.
