PROFILE Call on Miami Law Title & Trust Seeking Counsel? Words by Claudia Paredes At Miami Law Title & Trust, attorneys strive to provide the most personalized service possible. Miami Law Title & Trust handles short-sale transactions, foreclosure properties, and transactions involving all chapters of bankruptcy. At Miami Law Title & Trust clients can anticipate having their real estate questions answered, contracts reviewed, and assistance with various legal issues. The attorneys at Miami Law Title & Trust always have their client's best interests in mind. Miami Law Title & Trust was established in January of 2001, during Miami's real estate boom. The business was created with the goal of providing exceptional personalized client service –therefore ensuring that every client feels as though they were the firm's most valuable client. This creed garnered them a substantial clientele, enabling Miami Law Title & Trust's owners, John Cunill and Amy Adorno, to expand their business. In 2008, Miami's real estate market suffered tremendously from an economic recession unlike anything seen since the Great Depression. Miami Law Title & Trust had primarily focused on real estate; this turn of events caused them to branch out. John and Amy decided to join forces with Ken Damas to create The Law Offices of Adorno-Cunill & Damas. This partnership provided clients with the same great service coupled with the full services of a law firm. "Many clients had felt the effects of the recession and now needed help with foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, and escrow deposit recovery. Numerous clients had placed thousands of dollars as deposits on properties, but with the downturn in the economy, these homeowners needed their money back fast. The Law Offices of Adorno-Cunill & Damas did not fail them; hundreds of thousands of dollars were recovered for clients," said John. Last year, Miami Law Title & Trust celebrated a decade of putting their clients first, a concept more often found in rural areas, and not always embraced by big city companies. The fact that Miami Law & Trust was able to expand —despite the recession—and has been in a thriving business for over ten years, clearly exhibits that people truly appreciate being treated well. Here, the client's needs are always top priority. Clients will never have to issue complaints about their phone calls not being returned promptly. John understands the importance of this. "You can lose a client over missing one call, but it takes hundreds of calls to find one." Looking toward the future, Miami Law Title & Trust envisions great things for the city of Miami. The Miami Marlins have moved downtown and large building projects have started up again. Both Miami Law Title & Trust and The Law Offices of Adorno-Cunill & Damas feel that the next decade is crucial to Miami and the businesses in South Florida. You can rely on Miami Law Title & Trust and The Law Offices of Adorno-Cunill & Damas sticking around. "We are going to continue to serve our customers and as always provide the ultimate customer service possible," John assured. ML MIAMI LIVING 93
