Born in Montreal, Canada, Charles was inspired by his internationally renowned uncle and painter Jack Bush, as well as the legendary photographer Irving Penn. His ability to capture his subject's individuality – by making them feel relaxed and secure allows him to produce the elegant, simple images, which have become the Bush signature. A founding member, former vice-president of Advertising Photographers of America, Charles is also a member of Art Center College of Design's Alumni Council.
