SCOOP Eva Green turned heads at The Moore Building in December. Janet Jackson had herself a late-night din-din at Zuma Miami. Ricky Martin performed at Michael Yo's big celebration at the 'bleau. Boshes, Dan and Dean Caten, Eva freakin'-gorge Green, and Yelle toasted Craig Robbins along with Montblanc at The Moore Building. Diddy, Usher, and Mary J. Blige hosted a private dinner at Vic & Angelo's to celebrate producer Rico Love's birthday. Michael Douglas and the stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones attended a dinner at The Dutch at the W (this after hanging with Brett Ratner at the PULSE Miami VIP brunch at the Ice Palace Studios.) Also at the fancy-pants dinner: Pat Riley, that handsome hunk o' man André Balazs, Roberto Cavalli, Eva Chow, Stephanie Seymour, Vito Schnabel, Lorenzo Martone, and the Hiltons. From there the fun moved to Wall, where the Douglas-Zeta-Joneses and the ubiquitous- like-it-was-the-early-2000s Hiltons hung out with a so-mixed crowd that included Ron Burkle, Larry Gagosian, Sean Penn, Bob Colacello, designer Johan Lindenberg, and Paris' ex, Stavros Niarchos. Lindenberg, btw, celebrated the launch of his new perfume, BLK DNM, in style at The Webster. And Sean Penn was spotted at Haven South Beach. Theophilus London and Young the Giant performed at the Shelborne, while Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith and Usher shook it hard to the sounds of David Guetta at LIV. Smith would return to town later in the month and be seen at Prime 112. The fabulous Daphne Guinness hosted a dinner at Soho Beach House to celebrate her new collection for MAC Cosmetics. Kalup Linzy performed his musical collaboration with James Franco (sans James Franco) at the new Ricochet Lounge in Midtown Miami. The enigmatic – and fab! – Tilda Swinton presided over a VIP-only shindig for a Pringle of Scotland pop-up shop in the Miami Design District. The sexy – and super-H-O-T – Robin Thicke performed for a full house at a party thrown in honor of artist Nick Cave at Fendi Casa. Diddy and Andy Valmorvbida, minus Jimmy Iovine, celebrated the release of Culo by Mazzucco at Mr. Chow, with Nicky sans Paris, the Boshes, Brody, Brandon Davis, Rick Rubin, Alex von Furstenberg, Fabian Basabe, Damien Hirst, Ingrid Casares, and Joe Francis all in attendance. Loren Ridinger threw another one of her stylishly exclusive parties at her PPR, this time featuring a runway show by Missoni. André Balazs was there, as well as China Chow, Dennis Rodman, La La Vazquez Anthony, Irv Gotti, the pianist ELEW, who performed, Lennox Lewis, and – say it with me – the Hiltons. Post-Basel, things took a decidedly F-List turn (and that's putting it mildly) when JWOWW (MTV's Jersey Shore) was spotted sunning herself at the EPIC Hotel and her cast member The Situation got a speeding ticket in town. Urgh – let's class it up, OK, with a fashion-y sighting. Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka made an appearance at Neiman Marcus in Bal Harbour. Trina did the birthday thing at LIV. Joanna Krupa was spotted looking sunny in Miami. Close to Christmas, Flo Rida marked his "Good Feeling" going platinum with a little Dom Pérignon party at Louis at the Gansevoort South Beach. Oh, celebs – they're just like us. Christmas was a time to…party at LIV for Drake, Birdman, and Jason Derülo. And for Mischa Barton to enjoy the sun out on our sandbar, and for Shakira to run some waves on a jet ski with Gerard Piqué. And for Zoë Kravitz to enjoy the holiday with bf Penn Badgley in town. 110 MIAMI LIVING
