Contributors VANESSA PASCALE – EDITOR-IN-CHIEF / SENIOR WRITER Since becoming the editor-in-chief of Miami Living Magazine three years ago, Vanessa has fervently enlisted some of Hollywood's hottest names to grace its glossy covers and pages. The University of Central Florida graduate (with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English / Creative Writing) has gone tête-à-tête with a myriad of esteemed people, many of whom she has personally admired over the years, including illustrious business owners, movie stars, musicians, comedians, fashion designers, judges, television personalities…Her most notable: an up-close-and- personal interview with her childhood crush, BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale. As an 8-year-old with an insatiable zeal for page-turners and The Big Bopper magazine interviews, it was unbeknownst to her that a predilection for movies, music, books and television would later translate into an actual job. She is awed that the transference of her thoughts to paper, for entertainment's sake, is considered work and never takes this "adventurous journey" for granted. Through the written word, Vanessa strives to inspire, entertain, and uncover the magic that lies in every story she tells. She was enrolled in modeling and acting schools when she was a little girl, and worked briefly as a promotional model. Experienced in event planning, radio and television production, Andrea recently interned for "The Shannon Burke Show," on the BIG 810 AM, where she was best known to listeners as radio personality, Drea. She is currently a Model Scout and Media Relations Coordinator for Emerge Talent, featured on the CW's reality TV series REMODELED, in Orlando, Florida. Andrea achieved an Associates of Arts Degree in Communication from Seminole State College and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with minors in Mass Communication and Sociology from the University of Central Florida. Andrea's passion for the entertainment business combined with her love for writing assisted her in becoming a writer for Miami Living Magazine, where she contributes company profiles and celebrity interviews. The girls were always immaculately dressed. They raided mom's closet filled with Gucci shoes (that were worn with Levi's and Nik Nik shirts), dresses and bathing suits purchased from only the finest shops on Worth Ave, as well as their grandmother's closet, which was brimming with gowns from Mary McFadden, Dior, Michael Volbrath and more. After studying English and British literature at Florida State University, Shanna Nicole and Elissa Aimee took the plunge and moved to New York City. They landed jobs with a PR Agency and quickly learned the ins and outs of the Big Apple, working with the crème de la crème of the fashion and entertainment industry. Styling comes easily for Shanna Nicole and Elissa Aimee, who are always put together in whatever they throw on. Wanting to round out their experience and be exposed to the other side of fashion, they left New York to return to their Palm Beach roots, where they worked closely with head designer/owner of the well-known mens luxury swim line, Strong Boalt. After learning about the design, production, and manufacturing aspects of style, they headed back to NY. Always on the lookout for new designers, this duo does their homework for every client. They know what their clients want, even before the client knows exactly what they are looking for —be it for a shoot, campaign or event. Shanna Nicole and Elissa Aimee are inspired by music idols such as Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler and Bob Dylan.
