The five-acre boutique hotel reopened last fall after a stunning remodel. Featuring 22 suites and four stand-alone villas, the hotel is decorated in complementing soft blues and greens juxtaposed against dark grey or brown furniture, island-inspired trimmings, and large scope paintings. My new milieu –a two-story villa—is a modern retreat with dark woods and stone title f looring. The bedroom has an airy feel to it with its towering ceiling and ethereal, white, f loor-to-ceiling curtains that frame the king-sized bed as well as the double doors that open onto the balcony. The room is outfitted with a f lat screen TV, sleek furniture, robes, slippers, and refreshments (tea and coffee). As for the bathroom, it's as luxe as they come with clean lines, a large soaking tub, his-and-hers sinks, and an open shower. I step out on to the second-f loor-verandah -- equipped with a hammock-- and appraise the breadth of the property. Simply gorgeous. Downstairs is a living room with a TV, mini-fridge, and a patio dining set, where you can enjoy private, alfresco meals. While every corner of the property is idyllic, the most stunning views are observable from The Cliff Bar, Zest Restaurant, and lounge area upon the cliffs.
