Cycle for Survival - Miami Fights to Beat Rare Cancers On March 4, Cycle for Survival, the movement to beat rare cancers, returned to Miami for the fifth consecutive year for high-energy, indoor cycling rides led by Equinox. Special guests, rare cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, MSK doctors, Equinox instructors and other members of this community joined together at Equinox Coral Gables for an inspiring, action-packed experience. Participants enjoyed heart-pumping music, dancing, personal stories of hope and remembrance, and uplifting remarks from researchers about discoveries made possible by Cycle for Survival. Rides took place in 15 additional cities across the country in February and March, uniting more than 31,000 participants and 200,000 donors. Since 2007, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $135 million through its signature indoor team cycling events across the United States to help fund pioneering rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which owns and operates Cycle for Survival. 100 percent of every donation funds rare cancer research.
