Chloë Sevigny hosted the Gansevoort South's big NYE bash. Tyrese Gibson hit the Fontainebleau for NYE. Molly Simms sparkled as she kissed 2008 good-bye at Blade at the Fontainebleau. and could not have been any more fashionable while doing so, of course. A bearded Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck held court at LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where they rubbed elbows with Jamie Foxx. Also at the Butter NYC-hosted party were Diddy, Alex Rodriguez, Timbaland, Pharrell, Brett Ratner, and Molly Simms. Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson grabbed dinner at Nobu at The Shore Club. The couple (of friends) were in town to host and spin at Mansion's New Year's Eve celebration, where video later showed they had a bit of a row in the DJ booth … which they are said to have continued in the lobby of the Gansevoort South, and at Miami International Airport. Oh, dear. One — actually, many — of Miami's most rocking NYE parties was held at the Fontainebleau. Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo first did din-din with friends and her parents at China Grill Fort Lauderdale. The couple then hit LIV where they rang in 2009 with a bevy of celebrities including designer Christian Audigier, Gavin DeGraw, George Hamilton, Stacey Keibler, and Geoff Stults, and Mickey Rourke. Also at the Diddy-hosted, Cîroc- sponsored star-studded bash were Maroon 5's Adam Levine, who led the countdown poolside at the resort and who I am renaming "SoFine" because he so is, Bonnie Sommerville, Topher Grace, Tyrese Gibson, and Molly Sims, who rang in the new year with a cake at Blade with Fontainebleau owner Jeff Soffer and Brett Ratner. Overseeing the big NYE bash at the Gansevoort were Chloë Sevigny and T.I., who performed for a crowd that included James Franco, Kenan Thompson (TV's Saturday Night Live), and Jaslene Gonzalez. John Legend hosted, and performed his hit "Green Light," at Privé, while AnnaLynne McCord (TV's 90210) held court at B.E.D. Miami before hitting Skybar at The Shore Club, where she joined her beau Kellan Lutz (Twilight), Gerard Butler, Jared Leto, Maria Menounos (TV's Access Hollywood), and original-flavor Bervely Hills, 90210 resident Ian Ziering, to revel along with hostess with the mostest Kristin Cavallari. While in town, Ziering joined Grant Show (TV's Melrose Place) for a blast from the past dinner at Red, MIAMI LIVING 153 SCOOP
