Serving as a liaison to the public for the Greater Miami Film Offices, it's possible to find a job through them. Miami is a hot spot to film movies and television and you can be a part of it. The MB Film Society is all about saving the arts and culture in Miami, which is why they're the hosts of screenings, Oscar parties, and aid in bringing large festivals, such as the Miami International Film Festival and the Brazilian Film Festival to the area. See website or call for event schedule, show times, and prices. MIAMI MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND PLANETARIUM 3280 S. Miami Ave. | Miami (305) 646-4200 | miamisci.org Opened in 1966, this planetarium was the host to Jack Horkheimer's Star Gazer, the world's first and only weekly TV show on naked eye astronomy. See some of their daily shows, like "World in Motion" and "How to find Stars and Planets of the Month." With a 65-foot diameter domed projection screen and seating for 231 people, you can view entertaining and educational programs. The SPITZ "Space Transit Planetarium" star projector is capable of accurately reproducing the stars and planets as seen from anywhere on Earth at any time during the year. Open daily: 10am-6pm. Admission is $18 for adults, $16 for students and seniors and children 3-12 is still $3.
