Miamarina at Bayside is packed with accommodating services, the latest sailing accessories, charter information, sailing gear, and the newest technologies to make you a better sailor. This year the Strictly Sail Shows have added more interactive exhibits, so that novice sailors can learn even more. Experienced sailors can also participate in the numerous activities offered to hone their skills, while potential buyers can pick up a great deal at the country's leading all-sail show. Friday to Monday: Adult tickets are $16 and $30 for any two days. Junior Boaters 13-15 years are only $6, while kids 12 and under are free, but must be accompanied by a paying adult. "We are very proud to be known as the catamaran capital of the world with the largest selection of catamarans of any show. But there's really something for every taste and every budget. Strictly Sail Miami features more than 100 boats both in the water and on land, and ranging in sizes, for sailors of every ability." Discover Sailing Center At the Discover Sailing Center, all visitors can experience the excitement of sailing while under the supervision of a knowledgeable sailor—for free. Come for a fun-filled 1-hour session on the bay. The Discover Sailing Center is located on a floating dock between Piers A and B. Sailing Seminar Series Attend the free seminars hosted by celebrated experts in the industry. You'll receive great tips on sailing, and leave feeling more comfortable on the water. Kids Aboard Boat Building Program Children ages 6-plus can experience the joy of building boats at the free workshops going on from Friday through Monday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Participants will create two 10-foot wooden sailing yachts that will be launched at the show on Monday. South African Pavilion Multi-Hull Lagoon Returning for its fourth year is the South African Boatbuilders Business Council and the South African Consulate General. It brings first-class sailing companies, including six large boats, marine accessories, and tourist information from the Cape. Get the 411 on Boats and Their Accoutrements Discover Boating Center is staffed with eager experts, ready to answer all the questions you might have when it comes to making your big purchase. The staff will navigate you in the right direction, and provide unbiased advice. For the Young Shipmates Children will have a blast taking in the Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail. There are many kid-friendly activities and treats for the youngsters. The Miami Beach Botanical Garden features a new kids' area, equipped with Kiddie Rock Wall, Kiddie Combo Bouncer, and slide, in addition to the Jumbo Combo, and four-in- one Mutiny-on-the-Bouncer Pirate Ship. Be sure to stop by the All-State Booth at #1760, which will be handing out free life jackets to children 12 and under, compliments of Allstate Boat Insurances, Saturday and Sunday. The Big Game Room Developed in 2004, The Big Game Room is found within the Miami International Boat Show on the second floor, Eastern side of the Miami Beach Convention Center directly above the Sport Fishing Boat hall. This area is devoted to the sport of Big Game Fishing, and is comprised of 100 exhibit booths by Big Game fishing- related businesses. Here you'll find the popular "Marlin Bar," a stage for entertainment and guest speakers, the Bait Rigging Station, with demonstrations by professional anglers, as well as a filet station.
