Adonis Design - From Hollywood to Miami, a New Vision of Luxury Living George and Leeor are the founders of Adonis Design, the design firm behind a portfolio of highly personalized luxury residences from New York to California. Working closely with clients to create homes that reflect the way they live, the couple has built a reputation for transforming distinctive properties into deeply considered spaces, from urban townhouses to major coastal residences. Now, they are turning that same design philosophy inward, applying it to a Miami home of their own. “There is something fitting about choosing Miami for our next personal project,” George says. “We’ve designed so many homes around the way our clients live, but this gives us the chance to create something completely around our own life. Miami is where we want to be able to arrive, relax, entertain and spend time together as a family.” Their Miami residence is both a design project and a marker of how much their lives have changed since the home was purchased. The plan is to take their Miami retreat from the simple weekend “crash pad” it served as through their 20s to a luxury sky home for their young family in this new phase of life. The project reflects the evolution of their own lives, along with the evolution of the city itself. They’re taking Miami modern interior spaces from simple white walls to dramatic Art Deco-inspired spaces. Custom millwork, textured wallpapers, exotic stones and high-end fixtures elevate the home. “We don’t want every Adonis Design project to look the same,” the pair explains. “The consistency should be in the level of thought, the quality and the details, not in repeating a particular aesthetic.”
