Designed by Konstantin Grcic for Flos in 2019, the Noctambule Floor 4 High Cylinder Big Base transforms a series of transparent glass modules into a sculptural lighting piece. When switched off, its structure remains understated. Once illuminated, the connections between the cylinders become part of the design. The floor lamp is composed of four interconnecting cylinders made from transparent blown glass, supported by a large die-cast aluminum base designed to provide stability. The vertical arrangement emphasizes the transparency of the material while allowing light to travel through the structure. Between the glass cylinders, injection-molded optical opal silicone diffusers form illuminated rings. Hydroformed steel internal arms support the construction while remaining largely concealed within the lamp.
