HERNAN BAS: THE CONCEPTUALISTS ON VIEW MON DEC 4, 2023 - MAY 5, 2024 Hernan Bas: The Conceptualists explores conceptual art as a permissive realm for creative behavior and an inviting space for queerness, referring not only to sexual orientation but to the idiosyncrasies peculiar to cultural identities. Miami-based artist Hernan Bas exhibits 35 paintings, some never before seen in a museum, including his largest canvas to date measuring some 9 by 21 feet. ANNE DUK HEE JORDAN: I WILL ALWAYS WEATHER WITH YOU ON VIEW MON DEC 4, 2023 – JUNE 23, 2024 Artist Anne Duk Hee Jordan uses videos, installations, sound and kinetic objects to create enveloping environments that draw visitors into dialogue with natural phenomena, technology, and art.
