Meanwhile, La Lohan and Sam-Ron made good on their cancelled appearance at Passions Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Seal performed the Destination Fashion 2009 event to benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis at Bal Harbour Shoppes (the event had kicked off in February, with a party, natch at Saks Fifth Avenue, which Tommy Lee Jones attended). Perez Hilton signed copies of his book Red Carpet Suicide at Books & Books on Lincoln Road, and Narciso Rodriguez checked out Bella Rose's Bella Donna do just a couple of weeks after Calvin Klein did the same. The Miami International Film Festival kicked off its 2009 edition with Valentino: The Last Emperor, on behalf of which director Matt Tyrnauer met with press at The Raleigh. Ditto Enrique Rivero (Parque Via) and Kazuhiro Soda (Mental). My pesky deadline just will not allow me to tell you more about MIFF, but there is always next time, right?
