Madonna got "Sticky & Sweet" in Miami. Alex Rodriguez & Ingrid Casares caught Madonna's concert at Dolphin Stadium. Yelle performed at Basel's Art Loves Music concert on South Beach. MIAMI LIVING 175 SCOOP Pamela Anderson hosted an Ocean Drive party at LIV. A week later, Miami showed no signs of stopping when People en Español celebrated its 2008 Stars of the Year Issue at Grass in the Miami Design District. Among the guests were Cristián De La Fuente, Raúl de Molina, Lili Estefan, Candela Ferro, Edith Gonzales, Charytin, and singer Christian Acosta, who also attended the opening of Hot Tuna. Ludacris and a gal pal enjoyed a signature deep tissue massage at The Spa at Equinox South Beach. Shania Twain and, get this, the ex- husband of her former best friend (the one who shacked up with Twain's husband), was spotted at MIA, leaving town after a vacation in Key West. DJ Irie launched his Irie Milano Hi by Creative Recreation with a party at Blade at the Fontainebleau, raising $11,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Lending support at the affair were Alonzo Mourning and Dwayne Wade. The annual Y-100.7 FM Jingle Ball at the BankAtlantic Center brought together on stage a slew of stars that left everyone wanting more, including Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jesse McCartney, and Fall Out Boy. And finally, right before I pressed "Send" on this beyond-star-studded dispatch of Star Sightings, Lindsay Lohan flew into town to support her No. 1 gal pal Samantha Ronson as she commanded the turntables at Karu&Y. And, natch, the two did not head back to the Mandarin Oriental, where they were staying, but instead headed to Louis for a little after- partying, Magic City-style. And there you have it. We may have started out slowly, but you have to agree, we had one heck of a starry season. May the new year be even better! ML
