"Beauty, I feel, ranges from sitting in your house wanting to cover yourself in amazing oils to prevent wrinkles or getting caked up to go on a date with your husband or go twerk at the club," she says. "That's why I chose beauty, because I wanted to hit all areas of life." Make-up has always been an area of interest for Lala, so when her manager proposed the idea, she was in. "I love the face, whether it's make-up or skin care routines, I'm obsessed with it all." In the beginning, her brand only focused on lips. However, the trial, which was initially launched on Instagram (Lala would share posts of what she was doing with the lips), was a huge success and allowed the brand to grow. "I fully intend on making it bigger and greater." Lala handpicks every thing, from the various shades to the consistency of the creams. "I make sure I have a hand in all of it. It's amazing to put my name on a product that I believe in so much." "That's why I chose beauty, because I wanted to hit all areas of life."
