Lala is plenty busy with her new roles as well as her business, however, she tells me she has a real life at home —a life outside of Instagram and Vanderpump Rules. "When I finish, I go home and do my real life stuff." Lala lives with fiancé Randall Emmett and his two girls, and tells me that her real life is very different than that we see on T V. "Sometimes what people say gets to me. What I see on Instagram of myself or the T V show, to me even, it's very much an illusion, because you don't get to see what my day-to-day, minute-to-minute life really entails. I have to remind myself, people don't get to see that, and brush off the comments that aren't so kind. That's the hardest part of being in Hollywood. You are opening yourself up to a lot of judgement," she explains. Lala's job might be shooting Vanderpump Rules for three months at a time, but at the end of the day, her world is pretty normal. "I'm going home to two girls and waking up at six in the morning to eat bean and cheesy burritos, because that's what they feel like for breakfast, and going school shopping or buying new booster seats. My fiancé and I enjoy spending time together. We pick up the girls from school together. I have a standing date, once a week with his nine- year-old," she said. "I have to deal with making seven different meals because one girl wants pasta and chicken, and the other girl, rice, beans, and steak." The couple got engaged last September and although they have not started wedding planning yet, Lala has made it her goal to schedule a date and a venue by April. ML Catch Lala on Vanderpump Rules every Monday at 10 pm on Bravo, and follow her on Instagram and Facebook @lalakent.
