Making the World A Better Place Actress Daniella Monet is on a mission to make a plant-based lifest yle accessible for all Words by Briana Dodson Photo credit: Cameron Rad If you know Daniella Monet, then you know where you can typically find her on Monday nights —plopped on the couch with Trader Joe's snacks and wine, anxiously awaiting to see what's going to happen with Colton on the season finale of The Bachelor. This is just one of the ways the 30-year-old actress relaxes and unwinds. For Daniella, a typical day involves her reaching out to different cruelty-free beauty brands for Kinder Beauty Box, trying out new menu items at Sugar Taco, sharing sustainable environmental and vegan-friendly tips with her Instagram followers, and getting a good sweat sesh in with her trainer, Torrey. The West Hills, California, native began filming commercials at the age of seven, before landing recurring roles on the television series: American Dreams, The Bernie Mac Show and 8 Simple Rules. You may also recognize Daniella from her roles in other popular shows, including Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 and Victorious. Now, the woman is also killing it as an entrepreneur and advocate for the planet —she's been actively practicing a plant-based lifestyle for almost 16 years.
