a lot of her success to her parents, who have taught her to compare life to being a hurdle jumper. "You just jump over one, the next, and you just keep going from there. For me, it's always been in my genetics to know that if I want something and I work hard enough, there is no one who can really stop me," she says. Lala would join the cast of Vanderpump Rules in 2015 —a couple years after deciding to move back. Recently, she has been transitioning more into the film industry. In 2018, she starred in The Row, and this year, she has been filming Axis Sally, starring Al Pacino—one of the actors she looks up to and had been wanting to work with. She remembers after the first day that she had dialogue with him and the director yelled, "cut," Al Pacino said, "You are so good, you are extremely talented." He looked at the director and said, "If that doesn't make it into the trailer, I quit show business." This validated all the hard work, the classes and workshops and every thing she has been learning over the last decade in order to become a better actress. "That, for me, was the most incredible moment in the entire world, because I already know I have so many things against me. I'm a person who does reality T V, so that's already something that I have to work really hard to prove that I'm just more than a reality T V personality," she says. "I could relive that moment a million times. It was truly amazing." Lala also appeared in the latest Bruce Willis film, 10 Minutes Gone, which she enjoyed filming. "Any time I can play someone who is extremely distressed, I love it," she laughs. Lala has been auditioning and is currently filming a new, unannounced film.
