modeling, I would be in swimwear and lingerie, so I wanted to star t with something I knew very well. Shopping for swimwear is difficult. Ever y woman's body is very different. I wanted to give women the ability to embrace their bodies —all shapes and sizes." The luxury swimwear line's first collection stayed true to the summer's hot test trends and included ever y thing from mesh and strappy features to neutrals and a mix of two- and one-piece bikinis. The second collection is going back to basics and speaks directly to a lot of customer requests. "I listened to ever y thing that all of my customers were saying, needing suits to swim in and lounge in. I take to hear t ever y piece of feedback to be able to create something for everyone." Her second collection is a basics line with a more simple, sporty approach. "One of the most rewarding things about this line is that I get to be so heavily involved. I'm the designer, I deal with the business side, the production. I touch ever y piece." And swimwear is just scratching the surface of what's to come. "I definitely see myself growing the brand, not only as swimwear, but even more —loungewear and even the beauty industry. I really value skincare and would love to establish a cruelty-free beauty line one day. And of course, build my family when the time's right. Clock is ticking!" Speaking of family, with the holiday season in full swing, Nicole is dividing her time between Chicago and Toronto. "We'll go to Toronto for Boxing Day, a holiday we celebrate in Canada. And we're thinking Chicago for New Year's. It'd be nice to have a white Christmas."
