Prior to WAGS, Nicole had already established a name for herself as a professional model. Born in Canada, Nicole had very limited opportunities for modeling and T V. "As a kid, I knew what I wanted to do. I'd began modeling at local stores when I was 12, but there was only so much opportunity." Her mother, recognizing the limitations, moved her and her brothers to Toronto, where she signed with her first major agency at 14 years old. "The minute we stepped foot in Toronto, I remember begging my mother to take me to agencies downtown." Her first big break came when she landed a Bonne Bell Cosmetics campaign. From there, she began non-stop traveling back and forth from NYC, where she landed gigs with major companies like Nike, Levi's, Kohl's and Sears and lived in Spain on-and-off for a few months. "I feel so fortunate. There are so many incredible job opportunities that I've been able to have in my career, it's always difficult to choose just one that has made the most impact. That was really important to me." This year, after three seasons, her journey with WAGS came to a close. Now, Nicole is focusing on something else —the launch of her second collection for her swimwear line, Nia Lynn. "I've always been into design. My mom sewed and owned her own craft shop. I remember her always making my Halloween costumes. I also remember not being able to sleep sometimes because she'd be at it with the sewing machine. She taught me at a young age and I loved it. That was my draw to modeling, too; I loved the clothes." Nicole was a par t of the process ever y step of the way —from sketching designs to building the website, making samples, and more. Her first time dabbling on the side of making, instead of just wearing, the clothes, star ting a clothing line seemed like a no- brainer. "Living in Los Angeles, there's such a large swimwear market. When I first started
