ON THE SCENE 32 MIAMI LIVING Sailormen Inc., the largest domestic franchisee of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurants, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association kickoff the 11th annual "Sailormen/Popeyes Golf" Campaign on May 7, 2015 to raise critical funds and awareness to help MDA save and improve the lives of children and adults fighting muscle disease. Combined funds raised through last year's event totaled a record-breaking $703,034 to support MDA's programs of research and health care services, as well as MDA summer camp. More than 130 business attendees from around the coast will join Popeyes Sailormen in a game of golf and a mission to fight muscle disease.
