EVENT 144 MIAMI LIVING Devon Seafood + Steak and FINKA Table & Tap Raise Funds for Baptist Health Foundation Duo at Devon, a special one-night-only five-course altruistic dining event, hosted by Devon Seafood + Steak to benefit the Baptist Health Foundation (whose philanthropic support has helped build new hospitals, including Kendall's own West Kendall Baptist Hospital) raised $3,660 -- 100% of which will go to the foundation. The event included a cocktail reception with Devon's signature Blackberry Lemonade Cocktail and FINKA's handcrafted Smoked Bourbon Brisket Empanada canapé with Aji Panca Tahini Sauce, wines sponsored by the historic Domaine Souviou winery perfectly paired with a five-course $60 per person menu expertly crafted by Chef Rod Chitikov of Devon and Eileen Andrade, Chef/owner of FINKA that included: Dehydrated Kimchee Crusted Scallops, Chorizo and Lobster Tamale, Rabbit Paella, Korean BBQ Rubbed Cowgirl Steak and Toasted Guava Bread Pudding. SOBEWFF 2015 KLIMA Miami co-founders Pablo Fernández-Valdés and Yago Giner Viscasillas hosted lunch at KLIMA Restaurant and Bar for Spanish culinary icon, Juan Mari Arzak, and a number of other 3-Michelin Star chefs, Quique Dacosta, Andoni Luis Adurizis, and Alex Atala. Guests enjoyed an 8-course sample menu by KLIMA's Executive Chef David "Rusti" Rustarazo that included grouper, steak tartar with truffles, beef cannelloni, fennel carpaccio and ceviche.Rubbed Cowgirl Steak and Toasted Guava Bread Pudding.
