SCOOP Kate Hudson turned heads at a party on Lincoln Road. Scott Disick hosted the Mia at Biscayne’s re-opening party. Jennifer Lopez premiered The Back-up Plan on South Beach. Meanwhile, the cast of Burn Notice, Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, and Bruce Campbell, welcomed guest star Burt Reynolds to our neck of the woods by taking him to dinner at The Forge. Patricia Arquette attended a fundraiser at a PPR for the Give Love Foundation to benefit Haiti Relief late in May. Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan premiered The Karate Kid on South Beach – and received keys to the city for Miami and Miami Beach! – and even brought along proud papa Will Smith for the ride. Just like the New Kids on the Block before them, the Backstreet Boys took over the AAA to show us they still “want it that way” right before Memorial Day. Meanwhile, Halle Berry soaked up the sun and the SoBe fun down in SoFi. Bradley Cooper, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Sharlto Copley hit the AAA early in June to host the WWE’s Monday Night Raw – and promote their summer take on The A-Team, which, as of press time, easily was the season’s best blockbuster. Christina Aguilera took a break from promoting her new album, Bionic, to relax poolside at the ’bleau with some girlfriends, including Kim Kardashian, The singer and K2 were celebrating a pal’s bachelorette weekend and, natch, partied at LIV together. Ciara threw a bachelorette party for her BFF Lala Vasquez at Lux Nightclub. The two were also spotted at Prime 112 for a little nosh before the bash. Finally, 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord helped ring in summer when she hit the beach at the Fontainebleau before the alice + olivia trunk show. The actress and her sister checked out the resort’s Warren- Tricomi Salon at the Lapis Spa, where they got their hair and make-up done before hitting LIV for the night. Oh, and Paulina Rubio performed at special show at the Fillmore to benefit the Lili Claire Foundation. La Chica Dorada even brought out some special friends on stage with her, including Ricky Martin, who was looking beyond-mighty fine. And that, my friend, is all he saw and wrote. Until next time, have fun! ML 142 MIAMI LIVING
