SCOOP Jeffrey Donovan & Gabrielle Anwar checked out the Custo Barcelona show in the MDD. Mary J. Blige headlined the Jazz in the Gardens concert at Sun Life Stadium. One of my favorites, Robin Thicke, also performed at Jazz in the Gardens. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige commanded the stage as she headlined the 5th Annual Jazz in the Gardens concert at Sun Life Stadium, which also featured Robin Thicke. Also joining the Kardashians in shooting reality TV in Miami infamy was the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore. Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D et al. invaded South Beach with the strength of a wild all-nighter, hitting, well…every spot known to Miamians. Some hit the opening of Martorano’s at Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, others dined and danced at Tantra, and all, of course, GTLd much to our chagrin. Meanwhile, Gloria Estefan pledged her support of Las Damas de Blanco at a press conference at Bongos…while Kim Kardashian and Joe Francis celebrated her ShoeDazzle.com at the Bentley Suites back on the beach. Priorities, priorities, right? Miami’s so-called season may have been winding down in the calendar, but not in the atmosphere that overtook the Magic City as the temperatures (finally) rose. Just ask Mary J. Blige and Real Housewife of New York City Kelly Bensimon, who turned up at the Belvedere Music Lounge during Winter Music Conference. Or Mickey Rourke, who had a dinner date at the recently re-opened The Forge. Or Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli, who crashed Q-Tip’s birthday party at Wall at the W, and rubbed elbows with Janet Jackson and Busta Rhymes. With WMC pumping the ’lume, the hottest tennis players from around the world upped the ante as the Sony Ericsson Open kicked off with a star- studded party at LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Mel B was there, ditto Andy Murray, Serena and Venus Williams, Jay Sean, Pharrell, LMFAO, Simon Rex, and Tim Hardaway. Former porn star-turned-singer Traci Lords and Crystal Waters held court at the Sea to Sun/Loverush Digital Records party at a posh private residence, while DJs David Guetta, Burns, Calvin Harris, A-Trak, Kaskade, and Erika Jayne, among many others, hung out at the Alize Oasis Lounge at The Raleigh.
