General admission is $200, $300 for VIP. Launched in 1997, the Recognition Dinner has established itself as the year’s hot-ticket event for uniting the community and celebrating its heroes. Past honorees include community leaders like Richard Milstein, Neisen Kasdin, and Joan Schaeffer, as well as Hillary Clinton and Sir Ian McKellen. pick gay ML This year, the Task Force is honoring Tony award-winning actor Alan Cumming, who will receive the National Leadership Awards. Local stalwarts Cindy Brown and Katy Sorenson will pick up the Eddy McIntyre Community Service Award and the Humanitarian Award, respectively.
