WE WANT MORE! What advice would you give a young actress coming to Hollywood? Lala Kent: "My advice would be: Keep your head down and just keep plugging along. Remember why you came here, what your goal is, and don't let anybody tell you what you can and cannot do, because the only person who will ever stop you from doing anything, is always going to be yourself." What products would we find in your make-up bag? LK: "I always keep Showstopper highlighter, because that's my everyday go-to. And I always keep James and Mistress. They are both lips, they're both my go-tos, it's an everyday look that you can wear if you have a fresh face, or if you're totally caked up." You've also done music, is that something you see yourself doing again? LK: "Music is something I grew up doing and is so therapeutic for me that no matter if I decide to go in full force or keep it as a hobby, I'm always going to keep it as a part of my life. I have a couple songs coming out this year, one of which is "Love Yourself." It's more of a cool vibe, and another one that I wrote about two weeks before my dad passed away, which changed the whole meaning when I wrote it to when we actually got it mastered. It's something I hold very close to my heart. That one is called "What's It For" and they will be released sometime this spring." Where do you see your acting career in 5 years? LK: "I hope that in five years I'm filming movies. I hope that I can book a scripted series, I would love going to work every day and look at a script and get very much involved with my character. At some point, I would definitely like to become a momma. I see me on set, and I see me with a baby on set." What is your dream role? LK: "I would love to be a Marvel character or a Tomb Raider Lara Croft, anything that puts me in black spandex, a long braid, and gets to carry a weapon. I want to do the action thing, that would be so much fun, to get your body in check for that kind of role and just get to be a complete badass. Maybe a Bond girl."
