A Flair for Gorgeous Hair Make your next hair appointment at Warren-Tricomi Salon Words by Vanessa Pascale W arren-Tricomi Salons are renowned for their masterful, trendsetting hair stylists and lux milieus. Founded by power duo, master stylist Edward Tricomi —affectionately nicknamed Edward Scissorhands for his famous, high precision dry cuts— and business guru Roxana Pintilie, Warren-Tricomi Salons breed creativity and guarantee the utmost quality. These high-end hair/beauty salons offer a typical menu of services —color, cut, extensions, style, manicure, pedicure, makeup, brows, waxing— and carry a list of products (Kérastase, Shu Uemura), including their own Warren-Tricomi hair care collection. Edward —the man behind the name— began his career in editorial hairstyling (Vogue) in the 1970s, alongside legendary fashion photographers like Patrick Demarchelier. Over the next few years, he made a name for himself by creating gorgeous, unique looks for prestigious fashion shows and luxury brands, including Valentino, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. In 1989, Edward set out to build his own empire and opened his first namesake hair salon on East 57th Street in Manhattan. Today, Edward has several salons —in New York City (three locations, including their flagship at The Plaza Hotel), East Hampton, and Connecticut. Known as one of most influential hair experts in the world, Edward has styled the hair of the biggest celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Justin Timberlake, the Kardashians, and Mick Jagger, and continues to pursue his passion for hair with the same vigor he possessed when starting out almost-fifty years ago.
