We want more! What do you like to do for fun? Michel Duval: I'm a weird guy; I live for the audience. There is a super cliché, do what you love, and you will never work a single day in your life, and I relate to that. For me, acting is so much fun. But if I'm not acting, I love music, I love to sing, I love to compose music and songwrite and direct, and produce short films. If I'm not acting, I'm directing, if I'm not directing, I'm singing, if I'm not singing, I'm playing different instruments. The arts fill my life. What's your favorite food? MD: Mexican food. I'm a sucker for tacos. I love tacos, man, and I also love enchiladas, they are my glory. I could die for an enchilada --all day, every day. Where is the last place you traveled to? MD: For NYE, I went with my family to a Mexican beach in Oaxaca, called Huatulco. It's like a ritual for us, we've been going to that place for almost 18 years. We go to the same beach and same hotel, and the hotel knows our familia. My mom, sister, and I and we just enjoy each other because we're all in this great business and we sometimes don't get time to settle down and have a good conversation. Any New Year's resolutions? MD: I have a lot of them! I want to read more, exercise more, let go of fear, believe more in myself, and, of course, keep working in the U.S. Do you have birthday plans [February 10th]? MD: Yes, 100%! This is my 25th birthday, so, for me, it's a super big deal. I think I'm going to go back to Mexico for my birthday and celebrate it with my familia, friends, and my closest people. But then, on the actual birthday, I'm going to go to a sacred place in Mexico City called Teotihuacan, which is like an archeological place where they are still discovering stuff from the Mayans and Aztec civilization. There we have the pyramid of the sun, and the pyramid of the moon. The moon for me is my astrological god. Me and the moon have some special connection. The moon, for me, is something else, so I want to spend my birthday on the pyramid of the moon and do a little Aztec ritual to thank the universe for these amazing 25 years, and I hope I get more than that for life.
