A Day at Warren-Tricomi Salon It's a crisp, cold day in New York City when I arrive at Warren-Tricomi Salon in the Flatiron District. Fortunately, the salon is bursting with warmth —from the greeting I receive from salon manager, Mason, to the soft grey and white decor, and hot cup of black tea I help myself to as I wait for my colorist, Jessica. The salon is modern and chic, appointed with a white, tufted reception desk; shiny, white wall units housing hair products; and a row of hair stations with large, ornate, black chandeliers hanging overhead. Jessica —who began her tenure with Warren-Tricomi in their Plaza Hotel location a few years ago, then relocated to this newer location— escorts me to her chair where we go over the look I'm going for: brighter, blonde highlights, and a root touch-up. She gives me her expert suggestions, I agree, and she gets started. Using L'Oreal Professional Color, Jessica foil highlights my hair, then paints my single-process color onto my roots. To brighten up my ends, she does balayage highlights. Af ter a couple of hours, it's time to wash it out, tone it, and deep condition. In the end, my hair color is bright, light, fresh, and ever y thing I could've hoped. I highly recommend visiting Warren-Tricomi Salon —their staf f is welcoming and talented, and the space is gorgeous. ML For more information, visit: warrentricomi.com Flatiron Salon
