While Ariana's career is important to her, she says school is her number one priority; thankfully, she is having no trouble squeezing it in between work. "School is definitely most important before everything. But every role that I've gotten, I do set- school. Which is basically like home-school but you have an actual teacher on set there for you," she explains. "So far it's good, I've been getting straight A's, so that's pretty amazing," she says. Ariana's favorite subject is math, and is currently taking 7th grade math in 6th grade. She also confessed she likes English and letting her creativity out through arts and crafts. She puts her heart and soul in everything that she does—from school to auditions. Ariana takes her career and studies very seriously, and it shows every time she auditions. "I really understand the character and sample story in my mind, if that's not given to you in the side. I really do my research and prepare for my lines, and I prefer going into the audition, instead of taping it, because I want to show them my personality." When Ariana is not on stage or running lines with her parents, she is at home with her mom baking or with her dad riding their motorcycles together. She also has a 14-year-old brother, and a dog she spends a lot of time with outside. "My dog is the sweetest." Ariana has been lucky to have a strong family, and parents who have helped her along her career. "I don't consider them to be strict. They definitely guide me to make the right decisions. They are really the best parents ever because they are super sweet. They help me with my schedules and guide me through life." Ariana's career is keeping her busy, with a new movie coming out, going to auditions, and currently performing on DWTS: Juniors, it's hard to squeeze in other activities. When she's not filming, she also likes being a regular kid. "I love watching movies, eating ice cream, hanging out with my dog, and playing with my friends. I was never really into dolls or Barbies—I have no idea why," she says. "I love socializing with my friends, doing art in my room for hours and hours. I love playing with slime, putting makeup on. And this is crazy, but we film YouTube videos." Ariana explains that when she is with her friends, they like to create home videos, and play pretend. "This one time, my name was Billy, but we've never posted them before." Currently on DWTS: Juniors, Ariana continues to be a crowd favorite, and received the first 10 of the season with her dance to Ayo & Teo's song, "Rolex." "If I'm going to be 1,000% honest, I'm stressed to death every time I go on that stage and dance," she admits. "I've worked so hard and put so much effort into each dance that I perform that I don't want to screw it up. I want to win the trophy, make it all the way to end, and make America proud. Dancing on the stage, I've never been happier. Just seeing the lights and hearing the loud music in my ears and the audience clapping for me—it's just the best feeling ever because you know you did it, you know you've made everyone proud, especially my family." Ariana has made many friends on DWTS: Juniors and likes the glam, hair, makeup, and costumes—not to mention she is very appreciative of all the work the cast and crew put into the show. This past summer, Ariana filmed her latest movie, The One and Only Ivan, starring Angelina Jolie, Sam Rockwell, and Bryan Cranston, which is slated to premiere in 2020. In the movie, Ariana plays Julia --her favorite role so far. "She is so inspiring and she is an artist and loves animals. It made me feel me," she explains. Though Ariana is only 11 years old, she already knows she wants to continue acting and inspiring other children to follow their dreams—the same way she did.
