Last month, I sat down with our cover star, Torrey DeVitto, to talk about Chicago Med, Thanksgiving plans, her relationship with Jesse Lee Soffer, being a hospice ambassador... Naturally, the latter inspired a much deeper conversation. A hospice volunteer for about a decade now, Torrey's time spent with patients who are dying has made her realize what matters most in life. This segued into "what do you think happens after you die?, connectivity, her beliefs – subjects that allow you to really get to know a person. I don't want to give away the whole interview here, so read it inside. Trust me, Torrey is a woman you want to hear from —you'll be better for it.
