ML Scene The Relaunch of The Cove, Paradise Island, Bahamas This November, stars including Drew Barrymore, Liev Schreiber, Fergie, Brooke Shields, Christian Siriano, Chef José Andrés, among others, attended the relaunch of The Cove, an ultra-luxury enclave on Paradise Island. The star-studded private weekend event allowed VIP guests to experience the resort's breathtaking transformation. The weekend kicked off on Friday, November 3 with a Surfside Dinner on Paradise Beach. Guests dined on authentic Bahamian fare, ranging from out-of-the-shell conch to fresh-caught Nassau grouper wrapped in banana leaf, and sipped on bespoke Avion Paloma cocktails. The evening featured a performance by musical guest Spencer Ludwig, in collaboration with Bahamian artists Tingum Dem. On Saturday, November 4, guests lounged on the white- sand beach and the newly curated poolscape by Lulu deKwiatkowski. Iconic Chef Julie Lightbourn officially opened Sip Sip at The Cove, the chic Harbour Island eatery's first outpost. Saturday evening at sunset, acclaimed Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts unveiled "Sacred Space," a permanent, sculptural installation on The Cove Peninsula, paying tribute to the conservation of Bahamian heritage and the environment. Then, Master Chef José Andrés kicked off dinner for 250 under the stars with a preview dish from his upcoming restaurant, FISH by José Andrés, opening at the resort this February. Fergie followed with an oceanfront performance featuring songs from her new album, Double Duchess, as well as classic hits. And DJs Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol, from The Misshapes, closed out the night. Photo Credit: Getty Images - Kevin Mazur, Mike Coppola, Theo Wargo. edit
