me. "They were so good at making sure I was safe. They were telling me to watch my step every second and asking if I was okay," she laughs. As she awaits the arrival of her first baby, the new mom-to-be describes the process as "super fun" and is embracing the unexpectedness of becoming a mother. "Modern-day pregnancy is so different. We're so spoiled. I still work out with my trainer, take walks. I'm just staying healthy and happy. I'm letting the glow shine." The actress praises her amazing support system that includes her mom and boyfriend, Ben, who has been by her side every step of the way. "He kisses my belly, talks to the baby, and always tells me I'm beautiful. The partnership makes you feel good. And he goes along with all of my elaborate plans and ideas," she says with a laugh. After she has her baby, Naturi intends to return to work. "I'm still going to be a working mom. I'm going back to shoot another season of Power right after I have my baby. I do think I'll be more settled post-pregnancy, just because I won't feel like I have to say yes to everything. For the first time, I can take a break and enjoy mommyhood." Naturi believes that being a mother will add depth to her acting and the characters she plays. "I think it'll give me more layers to play from. The more I live life, the more real characters I can play. I have kids on the show, but now I'll be a mom in real life —that's another layer I can add." ML Keep up with Naturi on Instagram @Naturi4Real and Twitter @NaturiNaughton, and don't miss the Season 4 premiere of Power on STARZ June 25th.
