Michael Bay & Ramon Rodriguez celebrated the summer blockbuster success of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at LIV. Kevin Rudolf performed at the bash. The day after performing in Fort Lauderdale, Beyoncé and some friends grabbed a bite at CheeseBurgerBaby on South Beach before jetting out of town. In July, Real Housewives of New York City's Bethenny Frankel stopped by Books & Books in Coral Gables to promote her book Naturally Thin. Frankel then hit Da Vittorio, and made appearances in a come-hither red dress at parties at the Gansevoort and the W South Beach. Part-time Miamian David Caruso and Romero Britto dined at Philippe Chow, while Jeffrey Donovan (USA Network's Burn Notice) made a cameo at the premiere party for Bravo's Miami Social at Louis at the Gansevoort. Halle Berry was spotted in Miami Beach with her baby girl in tow. The actress and her little Berry and her gorgeous daddy, model Gabriel Aubry were seen in the Miami Design District shopping for furniture with a designer at Poltrona Frau. Not on official party business for a change, Paris Hilton came to the MIA for a courthouse date to defend herself in a lawsuit that alleges she failed to promote the 2006 film she starred in, National Lampoon's Pledge This!, which she shot in the Magic City. Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Andy Garcia co-hosted a party in honor of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Liz Balmaseda's new book, Sweet Mary, at the Eden Roc Hotel. Mercedes-Bens Fashion Week Swim attracted yet another Real Housewife of New York City to South Beach, Kelly Bensimon, who attended several shows, including the InsideFashionWorld.com emerging designers show at "the Gans," the Tibi and Red Carter shows at The Raleigh, as well as the Shay Todd show at the W, which also attracted Tara Reid. SCOOP 138 MIAMI LIVING Nico Tortorella from The CW's The Beautiful Life partied at LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Nina Dobrev from The CW's The Vampire Diaries also made the scene at LIV.
