The collection is modular and includes straight, angled, and corner elements, allowing compact or extended configurations. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of spatial layouts, from intimate seating arrangements to larger compositions. Integrated coffee tables can be added at the ends or between modules, extending the sofa’s functional use.
Technically, the Joan sofa is built on a load-bearing structure in wood and wood derivatives, padded with differentiated-density polyurethane for calibrated support. All elements are pre-covered in cotton canvas and polyester fibre to improve durability and comfort. The backrests are made from single-density moulded flexible polyurethane, ensuring consistent ergonomic performance. The upholstery is fully removable in both fabric and leather versions; in fabric, a grosgrain border is available in standard colour options.
The system also includes optional terminal or central coffee tables, with structures and tops in medium-density fibreboard, veneered in ash stained black elm, or finished in glossy lacquer or polished steel.
