The Jesko Absolut, Koenigsegg’s newest hypercar, is built for top speed. Its aerodynamic design reduces drag while increasing stability, giving it a drag coefficient of 0.278 Cd and a frontal area of 1.88 m². The car delivers up to 1,600 horsepower, making it one of the fastest fully homologated vehicles ever produced.
At the heart of the Jesko Absolut is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 1,280 bhp on standard fuel and 1,600 bhp on E85. The engine features the world’s lightest V8 crankshaft at 12.5 kg, along with super-light connecting rods and pistons to manage vibrations. This flat-plane 180-degree crankshaft allows even firing across engine banks and reaches an 8,500 rpm rev limit.
