Known for their exceptional residential and commercial designs, ANDstudio | Architecture + Design is a boutique firm led by David Schwade and Dakota Hendon. With a dedicated team of 10 talented professionals their portfolio includes waterfront homes in Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, and Coconut Grove, upscale retail stores and office spaces in the Miami Design District and Palm Beach, and Michelin-starred restaurants. David and Dakota, who met and became best friends at the University of Miami’s School of Architecture, always dreamed of starting a firm together. Today, that dream has become a reality, shaping the architectural landscape with creativity and expertise. David’s journey began as the first intern for the award-winning architect Max Strang, focusing on high-end, eco-friendly residential designs. He then moved to New York, where he was recruited by Kiehl’s to oversee the design and build-out of over 100 stores across the U.S., including the renovation of the Miami Lincoln Road store. This experience inspired him to return to Miami and establish his roots.
