Sophie's Address: 814 1st Street in South of Fifth, Miami Beach, FL Phone: 305-318-7745 Facebook/Instagram: @SophiesSobe Reason to Stop By: There's a chic, new, female-friendly hangout making a splash in the South of Fifth District. First on the scene during 2018 Art Basel 2018, Sophie's, a late 90s French-inspired lounge, has quickly become the go-to, late-night destination. With weekly specials, including Fun House Night on Thursdays, Jazzy Hour every Friday (from 6-9 pm) with featured cocktail and pizza specials --hello, perfect combo! The hangout sits in the former Radio Bar space -- its entrance is through the alley. Sophie's creator, Philippe "Flip" Falca, creator of Minibar and creative director at Urbanica, describes it as a "small bardot" --with a capacity of 180 people. Intimate and sexy, the lounge attracts Miami's cool-kids as well as tourists seeking an edgier experience. Myn-Tu Address: 1905 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 Phone: 786-216-7790 Website: https://myn-tu.com/ Reason to Stop By: If you're in search of a late, late night spot, SoBe's new French-Japanese restaurant and lounge, Myn-Tu, is the place to be. It's the only restaurant in all of Miami licensed to serve alcohol until 5 a.m! Offering up a lively dining experience, the restaurant is an elegant blend of Japanese and Vietnamese culture with a French flair --all reflected in the menu items. On the menu: Asian Tacos with lobster or tuna; Yuzu tofu avocado and crispy wonton; and French orange duck, a slow roast duck with orange sauce. They also have a list of delicious cocktails, like the Pink Lady with Bombay Sapphire Gin, hibiscus, lime juice cucumber, white eggs, and agave syrup and the Mynt Mule with Stoli, Hiro Sake, green tea syrup, ginger beer, and mint leaves. Looking for an elegant dinner out or simply want to treat your tastebuds to a brand-new experience? Reserve a table at Myn-Tu tonight.
