Between acting gigs, Daniella took up a job as a waitress at Madeleine Bistro working with renowned chef Dave Anderson (who was also one of the chefs for Beyond Meat, the plant-based meat company that you can find on almost all grocery store shelves). "I worked for the delicious food and for the experience. I got to learn so much about the food industry. Three years ago, he called me and asked if I'd be interested in his next endeavor." That next endeavor would be Outstanding Foods, founded by Chef Anderson. Outstanding Foods focuses on making plant- based foods "tasty as hell." Now, if you follow Daniella on her Instagram channel, you may have seen Pig Out Chips make an appearance at least once or twice. "Have you tried them yet? They're delicious! Cheddar has to be my favorite. And I'm so lucky to have worked with Dave; he's really great at what he does. There are so many directions Outstanding Foods can go. I think we're gearing up to create delicious food across the board." Food is something that's very close to Daniella's heart. "I love to cook and that, to me, has always been my way to be creative in a different facet. I'm Italian, so I want to feed people. It's my way to decompress. It's the first thing I do when I get home." This is why it was no surprise to learn about one of the actress' latests investments: Sugar Taco. Woman-owned and eco-friendly, the LA- based restaurant gets produce from local farmers to be able to provide the tastiest, highest-quality Mexican flavors while giving back to the world. "Finding healthy, affordable vegan desserts is pretty tricky. We wanted to cater to reaching the masses." Note: The churros are a must-try! The company donates meals to kids in need, plants trees, and overall aims to decrease each individuals' carbon footprint. "Jayde, the founder, is so smart and has been in the field forever. It's comforting knowing we have the experience. We're mission-driven, which takes the whole experience to another level. It's really amazing to create a vibe that is so fun and conducive to lively community, but we're also creating a movement." The restaurant is set to open soon. In an effort to continue to promote awareness and accessibility to a plant-based lifestyle, the actress recently launched her own company, Kinder Beauty Box, alongside Harry Potter actress
