Let You Down." He then landed his first number one on Sverigetopplistan with Darin Zanyar's "Step Up", which won a Swedish Grammy and "Scandinavian Song of the Year." After that, there was no stopping him. His American break through came about after working with Epic Records to produce Kat DeLuna's "Whine Up," which then led to producing demos for artists, including, Jennifer Lopez and Menudo. He would then manage Lady Gaga and produce well-known hits like, "Just Dance," "Boys Boys Boys," and "Poker Face." His other production credits include artists: Britney Spears, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Nicki Minaj, the list goes on, and he's also written music for a list of other artists, including Jason Derulo, Birdman, Justin Beiber, Cher… Is there any thing this guy can't do?! "I try to do something that I love, that represents each artist that I'm working with individually. I just love music that makes you feel positive energy and I'm always going to match the people who I'm working with. I can adjust to the artist. I love getting to have the vision, without putting it in a box," he says. In 2010, RedOne founded 2101 Records, a record label as a joint venture with Universal Music Group. "It's really going great! I'm striving to do as much quality work as I can, while remaining positive. Just enjoying it is the most important thing. Right now, I'm working with Enrique, with Marshmallow, and really starting to focus on my own music too." When there are a few moments of down time, you can find RedOne doing one of two things: playing futbol or watching Netflix. A few current favorites include, El Chapo and Surviving Escobar. "Futbol really gets my head off of work for a bit and I always find myself so fascinated with history and 'how it happened' type shows. Right now, I'm really into [Pablo Escobar] el patrón del mal. But one thing you won't find me watching is horror films. Not for me!" Not only has RedOne made a significant impact on the music industry with his art and great talent, he has also made an admirable impact with his positivity and willingness to continue to evolve into a better version of himself, while helping others. Whether you're watching his amazing adventures on his Instastory or you're listening to his music that's all over the radio, you realize, this is someone truly special, who will only continue to do amazing things.
