What will matter is how you lived." - Henri Junttila I saw this quote the other day and it got me thinking. Almost daily, I ask myself: Am I living a life that I'm truly happy with at the end of the day? Am I being a person that I would be happy to meet? If the tables were turned, would I want to be treated this way? When something nice happened to me on my birthday recently, a friend of a friend said to me, "Well, that's your karma." Is it though?" Do I believe that every wonderful thing that happens to me is because I sent out good energy? I'm not so sure, because bad things happen to good people all the time. But what I do believe in is people. I believe that the majority of us want to make the world a better place by living a good life. I am reminded of this every day when I witness a kind, selfless act – and yes, I see many of them. When I met JoAnna Garcia Swisher, I was immediately drawn to her radiant, positive energy. Same with her husband Nick. I would bet that their auras are the color of sunshine. They give off that good people vibe. After spending an hour with JoAnna, talking about her philosophy on life and values, I thought: Now here is a strong, inspiring woman who has figured out the true meaning of life. She gets it!
