PEOPLE 102 MIAMI LIVING Shenae Grimes is done being on a screen. For now, anyway. Ah, but that's only because, these days, she'd much rather be…well, on you. See, the Canadian actress – whom most of you will know from her cameo in Scream 4 or, more likely, from her five-season stint as sweet Annie Wilson on The CW's 90210, or whom some of you may even remember from her turn in the career-launching Canuck drama Degrassi: The Next Generation – is now a designer. A designer of timeless, vintage-inspired jewelry, to be exact. The L.A.-based Grimes, or, actually, Grimes-Beech (she married Josh Beech, a British-born musician, in May 2013, and, I'm told, she prefers the hyphenation) has put acting squarely on the back burner to devote herself to Two Halves, a venture she launched with her husband earlier this year. And what is Two Halves, you ask? Well for starters, it is a natural progression for her as an individual, and for the Beeches as a collaborative unit. Grimes-Beech told us when we got on the horn early one morning last October, that this endeavor of hers, and her husband's first, started coming together when she launched a fashion blog a couple of years ago. That was the seed. As it stands today, Two Halves began to flourish once husband and wife got to sharing their passions in matrimony and after she noted that she wasn't pleased with the way her original blog was being run. Shenae Grimes-Beech tells us what it's been like to go from 90210 ingénue to newlywed to the wife-half of Two Halves, the latest, mustiest jewelry line to come out of Hollywood Words by Martin Haro
