Santigold also took to the Ultra stage at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami. Nicky Hilton attended the Step by Step benefit at Gansevoort South. Pamela Anderson supported Richie Rich at his Rock Fashion Week show at the Fontainebleau. with Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush, and Kelly Rowland. La Kardashian, btw, was back in South Florida to host the opening of Opium at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. And Lady GaGa performed at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk) spoke at FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus, while Akon celebrated his birthday at Mansion. I spotted Lance Bass hanging out at 12 th Street Beach with his new boy toy following the first official Miami Beach gay pride parade, which had Patti LaBelle and Richie Rich as grand marshals. Kevin and Michael Bacon, a.k.a. The Bacon Brothers, performed at the opening of the Z Ocean Hotel South Beach, while Molly Sims attended the opening of Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau. LIV continued to attract a diverse group of celebrities well into spring, such as George Hamilton, who attended a Roberto Cavalli party; Jermaine Dupri, who played DJ one night; and actress Taryn Manning, who performed there with boomkat, the duo she is a part of with her brother. Heidi Klum cheered on husband Seal after his performance at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater. A back-in-town and smiling Jennifer Lopez greeted fans at a March of Dimes' March for Babies walkathon in Key Biscayne. The 11 th Annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival opened with great fan fare, attracting actor-screenwriter Jesse Archer, Adam Del Deo, the co-director of Every Little Step; and Drool star Jill Marie Jones. In May, Usher took a stroll on the beach with his toddler son, Usher Raymond V, on a gloriously sunny day in the Magic City. On a different stretch of the sandbar, Katy Perry got cozy with her ex-boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy. The band, as well as The Academy Is, performed at the reopening of the Clevelander South Beach. And Gabrielle Union had herself a family brunch at Quattro. Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa, and their entire Live with Regis and Kelly entourage set up shop at the Fontainebleau to tape some shows. Among Philbin and Ripa's guests was Nicole Richie, who talked up her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960. Rob Lowe also arrived in town for the morning show. Eric Dane (TV's Grey's Anatomy) took a holiday in Miami, and spent the day at the beach after visiting with MIAMI LIVING 141 SCOOP
