Dior presented its Autumn-Winter 2025–2026 ready-to-
wear collection under the direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri,
focusing on the relationship between fashion, identity, and
cultural expression.
The collection revisits elements from the house's history
while introducing a contemporary perspective. Chiuri places
the white shirt at the center of the wardrobe, referencing
the work of Gianfranco Ferré and framing it as a foundation
free from gender constraints.
Design elements explore transformation through removable
collars, layered silhouettes, and references to literature,
including Orlando by Virginia Woolf. The presentation,
influenced by stage direction from Robert Wilson, used
shifting visuals to reflect changes in time and identity.
The collection also marks the return of the J'adore Dior
T-shirt introduced by John Galliano. Other pieces include
tailored jackets paired with bustiers, structured coats, and
skirts detailed with velvet ribbons and pearls. Transparency
contrasts with heavier materials, while black and white
tones define the overall palette.
Functional garments such as rain capes are integrated into
the lineup, reinforcing the link between everyday wear and
historical references. The result is a collection that connects
past influences with current perspectives on femininity and
self-expression.
