The Peninsula's 219 guestrooms and 54 suites underwent
a full refresh that is incredibly elegant and luxurious. Think
upscale Manhattan residence vibes with white-on-white
jacquard textiles, Quagliotti bed linens, etched glass, bespoke
headboards, and curated objets d'art that make the rooms
feel collected rather than designed. What the Peninsula team
pulled off with this redesign is rare. There's a definite homage
to 1920s glamour with dramatic black-and-white contrasts,
the richness of materials, marble-encased bathrooms,
yet everything feels modern and effortlessly current. The
spaces are impeccably considered, with new lighting, plush
furnishings, and small but meaningful details that put comfort
front and center. For suite guests, the hotel adds a very
Peninsula touch: complimentary access to MINI Cooper S
Clubman vehicles that reflects the brand's commitment to
above-and-beyond experiences.
