During my second visit, I receive The Carbon Peel Facial, which "strongly targets the surface layer of the skin and exfoliates to improve texture and clarity." First, a carbon lotion is applied to my face. After about 10 minutes, it sets and binds to the top layer of my skin and the impurities in my pores. Then, the YAG is used to vaporize the combined layer of carbon and skin cells, providing a deep clean and a gentle peel. Lastly, IPL is used to reduce redness, pigment, inflammation, and bacteria. Immediately, my face looks more radiant. While this didn't immediately clear up the two pimples on my chin, I did notice some improvement after a couple of days.
