Kelia Moniz Words by Vanessa Pascale Tell me about the ROXY Spring 2019 collection. Kelia Moniz: "Spring is probably one of the more fun collections we've had in a while. I think the designers played around a lot with texture, which we hadn't done in a while and it's super fun, super flattering. Kinda sporty —more sexy." Do you have a favorite look? KM: "This orange two-piece is one of my favorites, and there's a white two-piece with a high- waist bottom. That one there. Those are for sure my favorite looks." Now, do you surf in these vs. a wetsuit? KM: "Oh yeah! I'm from Hawaii, so I wear a bathing suit every time I surf —as long as I don't travel to a cold destination. But yeah, I'm in a bathing suit for the most part. I try to be, because I don't like cold water." Is there a fashion must-have you never leave the house without or an accessory that makes you feel put-together? KM: "I always leave hoops in my purse, just in case I'm going somewhere." That's a good one! KM: "So I always have something to dress up a bathing suit." How would you describe your daily style? KM: "Super tomboy, super simple with a side of glam —a little." What can we expect from you in the coming months? KM: "I'm trying to surf as much as I can this year.
